What is NorthBay’s capacity?
NorthBay can comfortably sleep a total of 490 guests. 456 in bunk beds, and 34 beds in our private, apartment-style rooms.

Is there a minimum reservation number in order to book a weekend?
There is no minimum number of people required to book a weekend at NorthBay.

How can I book NorthBay exclusively for my retreat?
NorthBay requires a group to have a minimum of 300 full paying guests in order to ensure exclusive use for your weekend retreat.

Are we able to host small groups? What if we provide our own meals?
The Kestrel section of the Roost can host 17 – 34 guests in separate bedrooms and bathrooms, and they include a full kitchen in the common area.  The Goshawk section of the Roost can host 96 guests in 8 bunkrooms of 12 and they include a full kitchen in the common area. Availability
is contingent upon whether there are other main camp groups that require these adult
housing options.

Will each guest need to bring linens or a sleeping bag?
A blanket and pillow is provided for each bed. Linens (sheets, towels and pillowcases) may be provided for an additional fee. If your group decides not to purchase linens from us, then each guest will need to bring their own linens or a sleeping bag. Linens are always provided for work crew and in the private Kestrel housing.

What staffing is each group responsible for providing?
1. Work Crew: Provides assistance in food service and other areas.
2. Medical Staff: A paramedic, EMT, PA, RN, or doctor must be provided.
3. Adventure Work Crew: Provide assistance with adventure activities during free time.
Above positions come at no cost, and do not count toward your minimum reservation number.

What is the group expected to help clean up at the end of the retreat?
The expectation is to return the cabin to its original condition. Some responsibilities include cleaning up trash, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, and taking dirty linens to the camp laundry room.

What is the arrival and departure time for groups?
Check-in time is no earlier than 4:00 p.m. and departure is no later than 12:00 p.m. If the group coordinator needs to arrive an hour or two before check-in, please contact your guest services host to find out if the camp is available at that time.
