NorthBay Weekends
Established in 2004 NorthBay adventure camp is a $33 Million facility located in the Elk Neck State Park at the head of the Chesapeake Bay. Each weekend NorthBay opens its doors to outside groups providing them the opportunity to rent our facilities. With space for over 500 visitors the NorthBay guest services team will work with each organization to ensure that their needs and goals are met. Whether you are looking for a location for a church retreat or a business related teambuilding experience NorthBay is the place for you.
NorthBay serves 300 6th grade students from around Maryland each week during the school year. During their 4 day, 5 night experience NorthBay exposes students to hands on environmental based science through our Maryland State approved curriculum while combining this unique educational experience with exposure to exceptional leadership and a focus on life skills and character, while offering discovery in a high adventure setting. During 6 weeks of summer each year NorthBay opens it doors to summer camp. NorthBay Summer Camp prepares boys and girls, ages 7-16, for their future by teaching them to apply strategies from the outdoors to challenges in their lives. By focusing on specific skills throughout a session, campers gain confidence, knowledge, and problem solving skills while having fun and developing meaningful relationships with peers and staff.
